Become a Member & volunteer with us

There are plenty of wonderful ways to get involved and volunteer with us! Whether you enjoy being outdoors, meeting like-minded people, or helping support our community spaces, we have roles to suit a range of interests and abilities.

Our regeneration working bees are a great way to spend time in nature while making a real difference to the environment. Volunteers help with activities like planting, weeding, caring for native habitats, and restoring local spaces — all while enjoying fresh air, teamwork, and a shared sense of purpose.

For those who prefer an indoor role, our half-day bookshop volunteer shifts offer a welcoming and social environment. Volunteers help sort books, assist visitors, keep the space organised, and support the everyday running of the shop. It’s a lovely opportunity to connect with the community and spend time surrounded by books and friendly faces.

Whether you can join us regularly or just from time to time, every contribution is valued and appreciated. Volunteering with us is a rewarding way to meet people, learn new skills, and be part of positive change in our community.

Tamborine Mountain Landcare recognises the unique beauty of the mountain. Our mission is to protect its natural heritage values by maintaining and enhancing the environment and its biodiversity.

We undertake and encourage the preservation of areas that are significant for their natural heritage, biodiversity and wildlife habitats, native vegetation and scenic amenity. We coordinate with local, state and national authorities to ensure the beautiful landscape of our tableland is preserved and enriched.

Through our volunteers and other resources, we are restoring biodiversity corridors, forests and reserves.
