From books to trees

Our little bookshop celebrated 20 years in business in 2026.

Tamborine Mountain's generous community donates thousands of quality secondhand fiction and non-fiction books to Landcare each year.

 

Books are sorted, cleaned and shelved in easy to browse categories by our wonderful volunteers.   

 

Every purchase helps support Landcare’s environmental work across Tamborine Mountain.

 

ch of this extra funding has been provided by State and Federal Government grants. TML has established an excellent record of management with the regional body, Healthy Land and Water.

Tamborine Mountain Landcare recognises the unique beauty of the mountain. Our mission is to protect its natural heritage values by maintaining and enhancing the environment and its biodiversity.

We undertake and encourage the preservation of areas that are significant for their natural heritage, biodiversity and wildlife habitats, native vegetation and scenic amenity. We coordinate with local, state and national authorities to ensure the beautiful landscape of our tableland is preserved and enriched.

Through our volunteers and other resources, we are restoring biodiversity corridors, forests and reserves.
