The new council’s first budget released the welcome news that funding support will continue for the 2008/09 financial year.

The funding contributes to the services of project officer and flora and fauna specialist, Doug White, and other environmental related expenses for TM Landcare. Doug’s activities include expert advice to TM Landcare and it’s membership along with environmental community services to the region as a whole.

President, Tony Lambert, welcomed the funding from local concillor, Cr. Derek Swanborough, and promptly shared the news with members.
