7 field workshops
Seven Field workshops - free for members
First workshop: 9 December 9 am Esme park.
The second Sunday of each 'even' month TM Landcare organises field workshops, from 9 - 10.30 am. The first one will be held on 9 December 2007 at Tamborine Mountain Rainforest Park (aka Esme Street Environmental Park). At the workshop you will get a short introduction about an actual TM Landcare issue (15 minutes) while enjoying your morning tea or coffee; on 9 December Brian Davison will talk about the foreseen upgrading of this park for educational purposes. Then we will walk the area, exchange information and experiences with revegetation (either on Landcare sites or elsewhere) and learn from experts about the native plants and weeds we encounter.
The other workshop dates will be (in 2008): 10 February, 13 April, 8 June, 10 August, 12 October and 14 December.
Attending costs $ 5 per person, but will be free of charge for members.
