At the AGM the winners of the Piccabeen awards will be announced. 
Please nominate groups for these awards. The real secret of TM Landcare is nothing more or less than the active involvement of groups of volunteers, and active support by others. We need to recognize that. So please, nominate groups for the Gold and Green Awards.  

Piccabeen Gold award
For a group of at least two members who achieved special results for TM Landcare and/or the environment since the previous AGM. It could be a group of volunteers running one specific site project, or the shop, or a workshop, or a promotion activity, or a fund raising activity, or…… you name it. Nominate your own group, or another and explain shortly the reason. 

Piccabeen Green award
The same as the gold award, but then for non-members. It could be a GreenCorps team, the CVA organization, SEQ-C, National Parks, a school, another community group, a business, a news paper, the Council, or ….. you name it. Any group actively involved in environmental activities on Tamborine Mountain, and thus supportive to TM Landcare, but not being a member may be nominated. Nominate your own group, or another and explain shortly the reason. 

Piccabeen President's award
An individual member of TM Landcare will receive this award. The Executive committee of TM Landcare nominates and decides. No nominations required.

Members and non-members may nominate by email secretary@tamborinemtnlandcare.org.au or by mail to PO Box 161, North Tamborine 4272 . Nominations close at 19th August. Nominations will be considered confidential; only the Executive committee has access to the nominations. The nominations will be handed over to the Jury of three Landcare members appointed by the Executive committee without information about the person nominating. This Jury (Joy Gyuatt, Jenny Peat and Harry Briggs) will decide on the Gold and Green Awards. The Executive committee decides on the President's Award.
